Avocado, Banana, Creamy Smoothie
Yields 2 cups


Ingredients: 1 Avocado, 1 Banana, 1 Cup Hemp Milk, 1 tsp Flaxseed, 2 Tablespoon Peanut Butter, 1 Cup Ice


Blend all together for a creamy, pudding textured smoothie



Apple, Banana and Sweet Potato Smoothie


The sweet potato adds a seasonal spin to a traditional smoothie 
Apple, Banana and Sweet Potato Smoothie

Yield: 4 cups (960 ml)
Speed: Variable to High
Time: 1 minute

Ingredients
1 medium sweet potato, cooked, unpeeled and cooled
1/2 cup (120 ml) skim milk
1 small banana
1/2 golden delicious apple, halved
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon honey or other sweetener, to taste
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 cups (480 ml) ice cubes

Directions
1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
2. Select Variable 1.
3. Turn machine on and quickly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
4. Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached.

Variation: For a non-dairy alternative, substitute light or regular hemp milk for skim milk.

1 cup water
1 cup hemp milk
2 cups fresh spinach, washed
1 cup frozen strawberries
2 bananas, peeled, frozen


Sweet Lettuce Smoothie
1 cup green grapes
1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped, washed
1/2 medium apple, halved
1 cup ice cubes


Fruit Salad Smoothie
1/2 cup grapes, red or green
1 medium orange, halved, peeled
1/2 inch think slick of pineapple, core included
1/4 cucumber, peeled
4 baby carrots
1/4 medium apple
2 cups ice cubes


Going Green Smoothie
1 cup green grapes
1/2 cup pineapple
2 cups fresh spinach
1/2 ripe banana
1/2 cup water
1 cup ice cubes


Banana Coconut Smoothie
1 banana, peeled (reserve 1/4 for garnish)
1/3 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup diced fresh or canned pineapple
1/4 cup skim milk (we use non-dairy Hemp milk)
1 cup ice cubes


Sweet Sensations!  (My newest creation)
2 bananas
1/2 pint of blueberries (or any berries)
4 large leaves of Cabbage (Lettuce, Swiss Chard or other greens)
1 large apple
1 tablespoon of flaxseed
1/4 cup of Yogurt
